MAF in Indonesia
Welcome to Indonesia! There are over 13,000 islands that make up Indonesia. Shown above are the main islands. While in language school, we’ll be on the Island of Java.
The island of Java is the most populated island of Indonesia and also the most populated island in the entire world! There are 130 million people living on that one island alone. Unless something changes, we’ll be in the town of Salatiga, located near the center of the island, for eleven months as we go to language school. One of the main crops grown on the island of Java is rice.
